MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau on Sunday morning said a cloud cluster has been spotted east of Mindanao and could develop into another weather disturbance.

Weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said PAGASA is continuously monitoring the cloud cluster. Cloud clusters can intensify into low pressure areas.

Bulquerin also reported that Tropical Storm Gaemi, which PAGASA called "Ester", has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility and is now moving east at 30 kph.

Gaemi is now located 1,250 km northeast of Basco, Batanes and is no longer affecting the country.

Despite this, PAGASA said the country will still experience moderate to occasional rains caused by the southwest monsoon.

These rains are expected over the areas of Pangasinan, Zambales and Bataan.

On the other hand, the areas of Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera region, Cavite, Batangas, Metro Manila and some parts of central Luzon may experience cloudy skies with rainshowers.

The rest of the country is also expected to have fair weather, or cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
