4 drug suspects shot dead in Cavite, Quezon, Mindoro

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Four more drug suspects were killed in stings in Cavite, Quezon and Mindoro on Tuesday.

Fernan Baltazar, 30, alias Chokchok,  and Jomar Manalo, alias Macky Boy, drew their guns when they sensed they had sold shabu to police officers who posed as buyers in Barangay Pulido, General Mariano Alvarez and Dasmariñas, respectively, in Cavite, police said.

Alberto Lee, 58, allegedly shot anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Progreso, Gumaca, Quezon.

In Oriental Mindoro, police said Ildefonso Nanola shot law enforcers who raided a suspected drug den in Sitio Aplaya, Barangay Sinandigan, Puerto Galera. – Cecille Suerte Felipe, Emmanuel Tupas, Michelle Zoleta
