Man kills wife, lesbian lover after catching them in bed

NORTH COTABATO, Philippines — A man allegedly shot dead his wife and her lesbian lover in Matalam, North Cotabato yesterday.

Danilo Belgira was also killed in an alleged shootout with responding police officers.

Superintendent Aldrin Gonzalez, Soccsksargen police spokesman, said Belgira shot his wife Evelyn and Mira Luna Brigole after he reportedly caught them having sex at their house.

Eduardo dela Torre and Vivien Banes, who tried to disarm Belgira, were wounded in the scuffle.

Gonzalez said police officers were forced to shoot Belgira when he refused to surrender and instead opened fire.
