Boat capsizes off Masbate; 2 drown

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Two persons drowned when their boat capsized in the waters off Mobo town in Masbate on Sunday.

Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, identified the fatalities as Erna Rabino, 78,  and Teresita Garganera, 59.

The victims were with their relatives on their way to Barangay Luyong in Mobo from Tugbo town  when their boat was hit by big waves. – Cet Dematera
