Angelika de la Cruz reelected as Malabon village chief

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Angelika de la Cruz won in her reelection bid as chairwoman of Barangay Longos in Malabon.

De la Cruz won by a landslide after garnering 10,537 votes. 

She thanked her constituents for giving her another opportunity to serve them.

De la Cruz was first elected barangay chief in 2013.

She offered her victory to her late brother Eduard, who had just won as councilor in 2010 when he was hit by a van in Pampanga.
