Davao Occidental hit by quake

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.4 earthquake jolted parts of Davao Occidental yesterday morning.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake, which struck at around 4:56 a.m., was located 43 kilometers southeast of Malita town.
The tremor was felt at Intensity 2 in Davao City.
No damage was reported, but Phivolcs warned the public of aftershocks.
