Loaded sked for Governor's Cup volleyball this weekend

CEBU, Philippines — Volleybelles from North and South teams will fire up the playing venues all over province as the elimination games of the 2018 Cebu Governor's Cup Under-18 Inter Cities and Municipalities Developmental Volleyball Tournament resume today.

The North division will have a dozen 12 games up for battle in different venues this weekend.

This afternoon at the Poro municipal gym in Camotes Island, Poro will play host to Consolacion, San Francisco will go up against Cordova, while Mandaue City will clash head-on with Liloan.

Hometown teams San Francisco and Poro will face each other in the last game of the day.

Over at the Balamban Sports Complex in mainland Cebu, the order of play pits Sogod vs Carmen, Catmon vs Asturias, and Danao City vs Balamban.

On Sunday at the SanFran municipal gym in Camotes, Liloan will take on Cordova, Poro will mix it up with Mandaue, while Consolacion tests the mettle of host San Francisco.

 Tuburan, on the other hand, will play host to the undefeated Santa Fe, while Medellin squares off against Tabogon.

Down South, Carcar City will lock up horns with Talisay City, while Minglanilla plays host to Argao at the Minglanilla Sports Complex today.

The Dumanjug municipal gym, Dumanjug will battle Moalboal, while Alegria will touch down the court against Ginatilan.

On Sunday, Samboan and Santander will collide at the Samboan Municipal Gym, while the matches pitting Alegria versus Moalboal and Dumanjug opposite Ginatilan will take place at the Alegria Municipal Gym.
