Teen leaps to death from school building

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines  —  A 17-year-old student allegedly jumped to her death from the fourth floor of a school in this city on Wednesday.

Jennifer Legajet, Grade 11 student at the Florencio Vargas College, reportedly told security guard Tigno Maguisid to back off when he saw her on the terrace at around 9:30 a.m., according to a report received by city police chief Superintendent Edward Guzman.

Legajet died while being treated at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center.
