Suspect, 3 others slain

MANILA, Philippines — Four persons, one of them a murder suspect, were gunned down in Negros Occidental, Pangasinan and Laguna on Thursday.

Police said Emerson Antepaso Jr. shot it out with law enforcers serving a warrant of arrest for murder at his hideout in Sitio Indangawan, Barangay Manlocahoc, Sipalay.  He was declared dead on arrival in a hospital.

Police Officer 3 Joy Pabera was hit in the chest and confined in a private hospital. PO2 Armando Arsenal suffered minor injuries.

Police said Antepaso was the most wanted person in Sipalay.

In Pangasinan, Mark Barrozo, 30, was having a drinking spree with his friends in Barangay Quezon, Mangatarem town when he was shot by two men wearing ski masks.

The bullet-riddled bodies of two men who have yet to be identified were found along the road in Barangay Barraca, Villasis, Pangasinan and Sala, Cabuyao, Laguna.
