2 dead in Albay road mishap

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Two men died after their motorcycle collided with a truck in Polangui, Albay on Saturday night.

Orly Villanueva, 25, of Barangay Buga in Libon town, and his friend, whose name was not immediately available, were declared dead on arrival at the Jose Belmonte Duran Medical District Hospital in Ligao City.

The victims were traveling along the national highway when they collided with an Isuzu truck driven by Johnal Nacario, 43, at around 8:30 p.m., according to Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police.
