MANGATAREM, Pangasinan, Philippines — Police arrested a barangay councilman following a raid on his house that resulted in the seizure of marijuana and firearms in this town on Sunday.

Seized from the house of Ramil Labindao, 47, of Barangay Bagumbayan were two handguns, ammunition and three plastic sachets said to contain dried marijuana leaves.

Police were set to file charges against Labindao for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
