MANILA, Philippines — Three persons, including two suspects, have been gunned down in Bulacan, Ilocos Sur and Pangasinan.

An alias Peter reportedly entered and ransacked the house of Jessie Valderama in Barangay Pulong Buhangin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan at around 2:30 a.m. yesterday.

Valderama was awakened by the barking of his dog. He took his caliber .40 pistol and confronted Peter, who allegedly tried to stab him. Valderama then shot Peter.

Initial investigation showed Peter worked as a mason and painter when Valderama’s house was constructed.

Tricycle driver Eugene Mauricio was shot by motorcycle-riding men in Barangay San Jose, Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Superintendent Marlo Castillo, Vigan police chief, said Mauricio was on the drug watchlist and tagged in a killing in his barangay in 2009.

Jorge Celis, 48, was at his rented apartment in Barangay Ambonao, Calasiao, Pangasinan when an unidentified man entered and shot him several times.
