Ric Sapnu - The Philippine Star

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Unidentified motorcycle-riding men gunned down three persons in Nueva Ecija and Pampanga on Monday.

Reports reaching this camp identified the fatalities as Arante Gonzales, 30, a resident of Barangay Manacnac, Palayan City; Lamberto Nicolas, 54, of Sto. Cristo, San Antonio both in Nueva Ecija, and Tito de Guzman, 52, of Barangay Paguiruan, Floridablanca, Pampanga.

Gonzales was at a rice mill when the gunmen approached and shot him several times.

Nicolas and De Guzman were shot while driving their motorcycles in their barangays.

Probers have yet to determine if the killings were drug-related.

Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa had earlier vowed to eliminate motorcycle-riding killers.
