Election officer missing

CAMARINES NORTE, Philippines – A municipal election officer has been reported missing in this province, an official of the local office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said on Friday.

Francis Nieves, spokesman for the Comelec-Camarines Norte, said Oda Asis was last seen on Aug. 1 at a bus terminal in Sta. Elena town.

Asis was on his way to deliver a monthly report to the Comelec’s provincial office in Daet, according to Nieves.
