Man drowns in wave pool

SANTA MARIA, Bulacan, Philippines – A man drowned in a wave pool in this town on Sunday afternoon.

Rolando Dongon Jr., 38, a resident of Barangay Sto. Cristo, San Jose del Monte City, was swimming with his friends and relatives at 4K Resort in Barangay Catmon when his wife noticed that he was missing.

Dongon was found floating near the equipment that produces waves in the pool. He was declared dead on arrival in a hospital.
