Taiwanese woman dies in casino

MANILA, Philippines - A 76-year-old Taiwanese woman died while playing with a slot machine at a casino in Sta. Mesa, Manila Wednesday night.

Mei Tiem Lin was declared dead on arrival at the UERM Hospital.

Mei was playing at the Club Tropicana Casino along V. Mapa street when she collapsed just before 10 p.m., said Senior Police Officer 3 Jonathan Bautista.

A certain Jimmy Yu said Mei was his friend and she had no relatives in the country.
