Motorcycle rider dies in crash

MANILA, Philippines – A motorcycle rider died when he crashed into a truck in Malabon City on Tuesday morning.

Ignacio Yaldua, 31, died from massive injuries at the MCU Hospital in Caloocan.

Reports said Yaldua was on a Yamaha motorcycle (NC-79210) along Governor Pascual Avenue in Barangay Potrero when he slammed into a truck driven by Jeffrey Platitas.

Platitas is being held at the Malabon police detention cell on charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
