Alternative routes for INC event
MANILA, Philippines – The Quezon City Department of Public Order (QC-DPOS) and Safety and the Metro Manila Development Authority on Tuesday reminded the public of Quezon City road closures due to a medical and dental mission initiated by influential church Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).
INC will hold “Lingap Mamamayan” and “Lingap Pamamahayag ng Salita ng Diyos” where its members and non-members will be provided with medical and dental assistance, among others, in its church in Commonwealth, Quezon City. The event is expected to cause traffic due to road closures that will take effect until May 18 midnight.
“Mamamahagi ang INC sa nasabing pagtitipon ng libreng mga damit, sapatos at serbisyo medikal at dental. Bunsod nito magsasara ang Sandigan patungong Litex mula ika-12 ng hatinggabi ng May 17 hanggang ika-12 ng hatinggabi ng May 18,” the QC DPOS advisory read.
QC-DPOS also issued alternative routes to be followed amid expected traffic:

All vehicles traveling to Fairview will have to take a right turn at the Sandiganbayan and exit at Litex.

All public transportation will be given two lanes to establish a counterflow so they can pick up and drop off commuters along Commonwealth Avenue - Sandigan towards Litex Road.
