US embassy closed for December holidays

MANILA, Philippines  — The Embassy of the United States in Manila and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Thursday, a non-working holiday in the Philippines.

The embassy will also be closed on Friday, Christmas Day.

The embassy and its affiliated offices will similarly be closed on December 30 in observance of Rizal Day, a Philippine holiday, as well as on December 31, the last day of the year, a special non-working day.

It is also closed on Jan. 1, 2016, the first day of the new year.

The embassy and its affiliated offices will resume their regular services on Jan. 4, 2016. — Camille Diola
