1 dead, 2 hurt in Batangas vehicular mishap

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A man died while two others were injured when their motorcycle collided with a car in Batangas City on Friday afternoon.

Rico Andal was driving a motorcycle with Paul Kenneth Varias and Angelica del Mundo as passengers when the accident occurred at around 2:50 p.m. in Barangay Gulod Itaas.

Andal was declared dead on arrival at the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Barangay Gulod, where Del Mundo and Varias were also taken for treatment of injuries.

The victims were on their way home when they were hit by a Honda City Sedan (ZPF-975) driven by Beverly Cabral, who surrendered to the authorities after the incident.
