‘Jenny’ exits PAR; rains to continue

MANILA, Philippines - Typhoon Jenny is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility this morning, but rains from the enhanced southwest monsoon will continue to prevail over Luzon until today, the state weather bureau said yesterday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Jenny maintained its strength as it moved over the Philippine Sea.

As of yesterday afternoon, storm warning signal no. 1 remained hoisted over the Batanes Group of Islands.
