Seaman hangs self

BALANGA CITY, Bataan, Philippines – A 54-year-old seaman committed suicide after he was reportedly diagnosed to be suffering from a brain ailment in Hermosa town in this province.

Jose Rivera was found hanging at the back of their house in Barangay Balsik at around 4:30 a.m. by his wife Gloria.

Gloria told police that the night before, she noticed that her husband was agitated and kept on muttering to himself.

She said she woke up at around 4 a.m. and found that her husband was not beside her.

Gloria said she saw him hanging at the pig pen near their house.
