5 hurt in QC road mishap - report

MANILA, Philippines - At least five people were hurt after a wayward dump truck rammed a passenger jeepney before crashing into a car showroom in Quezon City on Wednesday.

A radio report said the truck accidentally hit the jeepney at the corner of Quezon Avenue and West Avenue.

The truck then crashed into a showroom in the area, damaging one of the cars, the report added.

The injured victims, who have not been identified, were rushed to a nearby hospital.
