10 songs to compete for Philippines’ Eurovision Asia 2026 entry
MANILA, Philippines — Ten songs will compete to become the Philippines’ official entry to the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, with the entries set to be released on music streaming platforms on Monday, August 17.
The 10 songs will be presented during “Pili, Pinas! Philippine Selection Night,” scheduled for August 30.
Among the entries are “Between Bituin,” written by Jungee Marcelo and performed by DNA; “Broken Beyond Repair,” written by Angelo Gonzales and performed by SAGA; and “Cheri(e),” composed and performed by Nar Cabico with Elha Nympha, Esang de Torres and Lance Reblando.
Also competing is “Di ‘Yan (Red Flag),” written by Jason Marvin Hernandez and performed by Jason Dy and Sassa Dagdag.
Rounding out the 10 finalists are “Good For You,” written by Hazel Faith and performed by Ryssi Avila; “Make It Exist,” composed by Angelo Calucin and performed by AJAA; and “Mapadama,” composed by Jungee Marcelo and Jeremy Glinoga and performed by JM dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano.
The remaining entries are “Reason to Leave,” written by Stephen Tan and performed by KHIMO; “Round N’ Round,” composed by Julius James de Belen and John Michael Conchada and performed by Vvink and WRIVE Russu; and “Sobra-Sobra,” written by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides and performed by Carmelle.
The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international television music competition organized by the European Broadcasting Union. Its Asian edition will be held for the first time on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
ABS-CBN serves as the broadcast partner for the Philippines’ participation in the competition.
The 10 competing songs will be released on music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on August 17, ahead of the Philippine selection night on August 30.
One song will ultimately be chosen to represent the Philippines in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.
