“One-time big-time” operation sa Valenzuela, 93 arestado
MANILA, Philippines — Umabot sa 93 katao na sangkot sa iba’t ibang kaso ang naaresto sa isinagawang “One-Time Big-Time” operation ng pulisya simula September 11 hanggang 17 sa Valenzuela City.
Ayon kay Valenzuela police Chief Col. Salvador Destura Jr, kabilang sa mga naaresto ng mga operatiba ng Station Intelligence Section (SIS) sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ni P/ Major Marisaa Arellano, Detective Management Unit (DMU) at nang siyam na Police Sub-Stations sa Valenzuela City ang 73 katao sa anti-illegal gambling operations.
Dinakip naman ng mga tauhan ng Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) sa pamumuno ni PLT Robin Santos, ang 20 katao na may nakabinbing warrant para sa kasong adultery, estafa, theft, reckless imprudence, acts of lasciviousness, unjust vexation, at mga umano’y lumabag sa mga ordinansa ng lungsod, Republic Act 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse), Batas Pambansa 22 (Bouncing Checks Law), at Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women).
Hinimok naman ni Destura ang publiko na i-report ang anumang ilegal na aktibidad sa kani-kanilang lugar.
“The One-Time Big-Time police operations serve as a caution to those who disobey and ignore city ordinances, and violate the law because we, the police make sure that we will arrest them,” ani Destura.
