Pagluwag sa age restriction binawi ng Metro Manila Mayors
MANILA, Philippines — Muling nagkasundo ang Metro Manila mayors na huwag munang palabasin ng bahay ang mga menor-de-edad at bawiin ang dating pagluluwag sa age restriction.
Ito ay dahil sa pagsipa na naman ng kaso ng COVID-19.
Ayon kay Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Benhur Abalos, simula ngayon, Marso 17, ang mga may edad 18-65 lamang ang papayagang makalabas ng bahay.
Sinabi ito ni Abalos, matapos mapagkasunduan sa Metro Manila Council (MMC) sa ilalabas na resolusyon na nagbabawal na sa mga menor-de-edad, partikular sa 15-17 anyos na lumabas ng bahay, sa loob ng dalawang linggo.
Paiiralin aniya ito sa 17 local government units (LGUs) sa NCR.
“We are implementing age restrictions because of the increase in our COVID-19 cases. We encourage everyone to strictly observe and practice the minimum health protocols, and be extra careful and follow stringent measures particularly when around vulnerable family members, as there have been reports of transmission among family members. As I’ve said before, the metro mayors and MMDA are regularly monitoring the COVID-19 numbers and we will implement calibration and changes on our directives depending on the figures that we have,” aniya.
Ang mga multa o parusang ipapataw sa lalabag ay depende aniya, sa ordinansa ng bawat lungsod.
