P5 bilyon naipalabas ng SSS sa pension loans
MANILA, Philippines — Umaabot na sa P5 bilyon ang pondong naipalabas ng Social Security System (SSS) para sa pension loans ng 138,917 pensioner simula September 2018 hanggang July 31, 2020.
Ang NCR ang nangunguna sa pension loan disbursement na P1.75 billion, sinundan ng Luzon P1.57 billion, Visayas P1.01 billion, at Mindanao P724.12 million.
Ang Western Visayas ang may pinaka madaming umutang na 17,660 borrowers, sumunod ang Northern NCR na may 17,037 borrowers, at Southern Luzon 1 na may 14,872 borrowers.
“We appreciate that this special loan program has served its purpose of providing retiree pensioners with their immediate financial needs especially in this time of health and economic crisis,” pahayag ni SSS President and CEO Aurora C. Ignacio.
Ang Pension Loan Program ay nailunsad noong 2018 para pagkalooban ng secure, low-interest, at convenient loan program ang retiree-pensioners.
Sa mga may dagdag katanungan, ang mga pensioners ay maaaring tumawag sa SSS’ hotline sa 1455 at sundan ang SSS Facebook Page “Philippine Social Security System,” Instagram Account “Mysssph,” o Twitter Feed “PHLSSS”.
