Ilang establisyemento sa Taguig, ipinasara

‘Di sumunod sa health standard

MANILA, Philippines — Ilang establisyemento sa Taguig City ang pansamantalang ipinasara ng lokal na pamahalaan dahil sa hindi pagsunod sa minimum health standards na itinakda ng Safe City Task Force (SCTF).

“While it is not in the city government’s best interest for businesses to be closed down, it must be clear to everyone that we will always value the lives of the residents of Taguig more than the revenue raised from the operations of non-compliant establishments.,” ayon sa statement kahapon ng SCTF.

Pangunahing tungkulin ng lokal na pamahalaan ang pangalagaan at mapanatiling ligtas ang mga mamamayan ng Taguig, ayon pa sa pahayag.

Ipinaliwanag ng SCTF na alam naman ng lahat na ang COVID-19, ang nagdala sa bansa sa sitwasyon ng public health emergency. Ang patakaran na ipasara ang mga establisyemento na hindi tumutugon sa kaligtasan at health protocols ay una nang naipabatid para maproteksiyunan ang publiko.

“For those who are reckless and irresponsible, we want to be very clear -- you must work within the guidelines set by public health experts to ensure the safety of the general public or face the full force of the law. Complaining about it on social media but not doing the actual work to keep your establishment safe, will not work,” banta pa ng SCTF.

Samantala, nagpasalamat naman ang pamahalaang lokal sa mga sumusunod sa ipinatutupad na patakaran.
