9 empleyado ng BI sa NAIA, negatibo sa swab test
MANILA, Philippines — Matapos na magpositibo sa rapid testing, nag-negatibo naman sa isinagawang ‘swab testing’ ang siyam na empleyado ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na nakatalaga sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
“We are elated upon learning that, so far, none of our frontliners at the NAIA have been infected by the virus,” ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente.
Sa kabila nito, ipinaalala pa rin ni Morente sa mga tauhan ang ibayo pa ring pag-iingat at pagsunod sa mga health protocols dahil sa nananatili pa rin ang banta ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“We immediately informed our officers about the test results but at the same time we reminded them to always observe physical distancing, practice good hygiene, and always wear face masks, gloves, and other protective gear while on duty and especially when processing and interviewing passengers undergoing routine immigration inspection,” ayon naman kay BI Port Operations Division (POD) Acting Chief Grifton Medina.
Ang siyam na empleyado ay kabilang sa tauhan ng NAIA-Terminal 3 na mga sumailalim sa rapid testing nitong Hunyo 5. Ibinalita rin ng BI na nagnegatibo lahat ng kanilang 43 tauhan sa Clark Intrernational Airport na sumailalim sa rapid testing noong nakaraang buwan.
