‘Traffic Revolution’ sa EDSA ipapatupad ni Nebrija
MANILA, Philippines — Desidido ang bagong talagang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Traffic Czar Bong Nebrija na maibsan ang trapik sa kahabaan ng EDSA kung kaya inilunsad ang ‘Oplan Traffic Revolution’ na gagamitin umano ng kamay na bakal sa pagpapatupad sa lahat ng motorista.
“I will inspect the whole stretch of EDSA, both northbound and southbound lanes because there is a need for me to know the problem there. I want to see it for myself,” ani Nebrija.
Sabi ni Nebrija, magpapatupad sila ng mga pagbabago sa EDSA lalo na sa “engineering interventions” na kahit papaano aniya ay ma-minimize ang traffic.
Nais ng naturang opis-yal na gawing “traffic discipline zone” ang buong kahabaan ng EDSA, kung saan ipapatupad ang mahigpit na disiplina sa mga pampubliko at pribadong motorista na tatawaging “Oplan EDSA Traffic Revolution.”
“We will make sure that motors are keep on the roads and stay on their lanes. We will make sure that motorists will pay courtesy to one another. It’s a serious enforcement and no non-sense enforcement – apprehension and re-education,” ayon kay Nebrija.
