Chinese falls to death from condo’s 18th floor

MANILA, Philippines - A Chinese man died after falling from the 18th floor of a 38-story condominium along Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City yesterday morning.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban identified the fatality as He Hai Bing, alias Asher, 24, a call center agent for Golden Luck Technologies.

Initial investigation showed that the victim fell from his condo unit at the 18th floor of the West of Ayala condominium located at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue and Urban Avenue at 11:04 a.m.

A check by police investigators on his condo unit showed no signs of struggle or disarray. There was also no one inside the victim’s condo unit when police arrived, Lukban said.

The victim was rushed to the Ospital ng Makati where he was declared dead on arrival at 11:40 a.m.

Police probers are still investigating if there was foul play in the incident.
