When it’s a brand that I can only get online, before making a crucial, make-or-break beauty investment — or steal! — I always do my research, which partly consists of reading the reviews section. On Sephora Philippines’ site, I filter the results I get based on my beauty profile so I know the reviews are written by people who more or less have the same needs as I do. I trust it because you can’t write a review on the multi-brand beauty retailer’s e-commerce site unless you’ve actually purchased the product using the account that you’ll be writing from.
