Gee, the military look, mini skirts, pop 80s and nude colors look terrific!

Imagine G Tongi, one of Manilas most beautiful faces, in a black leather catsuit sneaking in through the window of a house. Like a seasoned spy, G lands rolling on the floor with silence and grace. She then quickly goes up a staircase and moves from room to room searching for something. Gorgeous G later sprays a chemical substance in the air to reveal the presence of sensory lasers across the floor. And like Catherine Zeta-Jones in Entrapment, she tumbles and cartwheels through them effortlessly. Finally finding a special box, she escapes like one of Charlies Angels on a high-speed motorbike. After reaching a safe distance, she stops to open this valued package. With a satisfied smile on her face, G reaches in and reveals what the luggage contained: a Freeway outfit!
No. This isnt Gs next movie. Nor is it her next commercial. This short pseudo sci-fi and suspense movie clip was presented recently at the press launch of Freeway featuring G Tongi as its new image model.
Held at My Cinema in Greenbelt 3, the editors of top fashion magazines, broadsheets and TV listers strutted in with their invites-cum-movie tickets, welcomed by Good Earths treats.
Reinventing itself to join the ranks of the countrys top fashion houses, Freeway showcased its latest collection inspired by military, skin and nude colors, and pop 80s. Shorts and mini skirts clearly dominated the ramp. Rising stylist Lotho wove colorful satin ribbons on the wrists, arms and even on Gs legs as the ribbons anchored on the heels of her favorite white pumps. With lengthy false lashes in hues of blue, red, green, yellow and gold and color crazy hairpieces on the models, top make-up artist Denise Go and sister Francesca punctuated the look.
G Tongi came out in a utilitarian-military outfit, her white short-sleeved polo knotted at the waist revealing her fab body and a black-sequined Freeway bra. "The bra tops are utterly flattering," she said admitting what she best loves about Freeway. In fact, Giselle fell in love at-first-trial with the brand. "Its the type of clothes I would wear and its what youll see in my closet!"
After sashaying down the ramp, Freeways first personality endorser ushered everyone to Famous where G did her bartending stint. Delectable dalandan, luscious lychee, breezy buco, classic calamansi and mango martini were her signature martini concoctions. Cool ending for a hot show!
