The Ivywall Resort opens in Panglao
Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel, the premiere beachfront property in Panglao Island, Bohol, boasts the world-class standards of the Best Western Hotels & Resorts International, assuring travelers of affordability partnered with Filipino hospitality.
The resort is compliant with Philippine laws on environmental and beach conservation. It has its own water treatment plant to fully sustain the resort’s operations.
Best Western Plus The Ivywall Resort-Panglao, located on the white sand beaches of Alona Beach, has 80 spacious well-appointed rooms, beachfront access, spa, gym, children’s activity center, game room, an infinity pool with water features and function rooms that can accommodate up to 110 persons.
The resort has a unique bar concept called Teraza, which uses locally sourced ingredients for stellar craft cocktails. The bar has a deck lounge with a view of Alona Beach and its magnificent sunsets.
Chef Sau del Rosario leads the destination restaurant Alon, showcasing tropical island cuisine. Alon All Day Dining is where breakfast buffet is served and continues as a full service restaurant throughout the day where one can enjoy all-day brunch and island fare with direct access to the beach.
Alon Bar & Lounge, located on the upper ground level, features lounge chairs, sofas and benches overlooking the beach with direct access to the pool and lobby. A wide range of cocktails, beers and wine will be available along with international and local cuisine.
The group opened its maiden hotel in the heart of Puerto Princesa, Palawan in 2016. By the following year, the Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel was awarded 2017’s Best Western Plus - Best Standard Award. And shortly after, the team received another award as the Best Performing Hotel of 2018 given by the Puerto Prin-cesa Tourism Council.
