Scarlet Snow Belo named new Tourism ambassador
MANILA, Philippines — Apart from being an Internet celebrity and products endorser at the young age of four, Scarlet Snow Belo is now an official tourism ambassador.
In her Instagram account, the daughter of celebrity doctors Hayden Kho Jr. and Vicki Belo posted a photo of her with Department of Tourism officials, including Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.
“Okay Tita Berna, let’s get to work and invite all the people of the world to our Philippines. But only as visitors, okay?” Scarlet wrote.
For her part, Puyat also posted a video of her welcoming Scarlet as tourism ambassador.
“@scarletsnowbelo, our youngest and cutest advocate of Philippine tourism, is now part of the fun!” the Tourism chief wrote.
Scarlet was introduced to the public by her parents on 2016 and instantly became an internet sensation. Her Instagram account, managed by her parents, now has 3.4 million followers.
It can be recalled that last July, the Tourism department has named actress Dimples Romana as Tourism ambassador, thanks to her popular #OhDani memes inspired by her "Kadenang Ginto" character, Daniela Mondragon.
