New GM at Taal Vista Hotel

MANILA, Philippines – James Bevans takes over as Taal Vista Hotel’s new general manager responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the hotel.

A British national, Bevans brings with him over 25 years of vast experience in international hotel management. He has built an amazing record of setting up hotels, improving both guest and employee satisfaction.  Bevans has spent a significant portion of his career in Asia, Middle East, US and Europe under the Hyatt Hotels.

He is no stranger to the Philippines. His first assignment in the country was in 2006 as director of rooms at The Peninsula Manila. Prior to joining Taal Vista Hotel, he spent over three years as hotel manager at Raffles Fairmont Makati.

Bevans replaces Walid Wafik who has moved to a new appointment under SM Hotels and Conventions Corp.
