Rookie Monsters Are Going To Kill It
MANILA, Philippines — The wait is over because the icons of South Korea are coming to town. Seven-member idol group iKON is performing for the first time in Manila on Nov. 11 as they make their rounds for their Continue Tour. Formed in 2015 under YG Entertainment, the same company that honed K-pop legends Bigbang and 2NE1, these rookie monsters have gone through two survival shows to prove that they deserve an idol spot in the K-pop industry.
Debuting only three years ago, iKON made their third comeback for 2018 last Oct. 1. Led by their leader B.I., iKON came out with their album “New Kids: The Final” with Goodbye Road as their title track. They recently performed their hits Love Scenario and Rhythm Ta at the 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony with a stadium full of athletes and spectators singing along. iKON’s performance level is at an all time high, and deserving is an understatement to say that these boys are worthy of being called idols.
