Stores Specialists Inc. introduces ‘SSI Life’ App

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s leading fashion and lifestyle specialty retailer, Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI), marks another milestone with the launch of its mobile app.

The app, called “SSI Life,” will give customers a whole new approach to their retail experience. Smartphone users will be able to browse and get app-exclusive offers from more than 600 store locations of the more than 80 different brands of SSI such as Bally, Calvin Klein, Debenhams, Boss, Lacoste, M&S, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara and a lot more.

According to Catherine Huang, manager of the Digital Media Office at SSI, “The developments made in technology have greatly affected our customers’ lifestyle and expectations. Based on market statistics, it is estimated that over 90 percent of the local customer base for lifestyle brands are already using smartphones. The SSI Life mobile app will be our primary mode for reaching this market through this medium.”

Aside from receiving exclusive vouchers and information on what’s new with SSI brands, users of the mobile app will also receive exclusive campaign notifications every time they visit any mall in the country where SSI brands are located. Clients will be able to fully experience the brands at the tip of their fingers.

SSI has partnered with leading mobile retail marketing system Sprooki Pte Ltd. to deliver this revolutionary mobile app.  “Lifestyle and designer brands have invested heavily in fewer, better concept stores as compared to mass market brands,” said Claire Mula, co-founder and managing director at Sprooki. “Fashion-forward shoppers in Asia are connected and expect to engage with these much-desired brands via their mobile devices. We are excited to assist the market leader Stores Specialists, Inc. in continuing to attract the next generation of connected lifestyle shoppers into their 600-plus concept stores.”

The “SSI Life” App was launched Nov. 9 and 10 at Rockwell; Nov. 16 at Glorietta; Nov. 17 at Eastwood; Nov. 23 at Greenbelt. It will be launched today at TriNoma; Nov. 30 and Dec.1 at Shangri-La; Dec.  7 at  Eastwood; and Dec. 8 at Alabang Town Center.

The “SSI Life” app is available for iOs and Android, free on Apple App Store or Google Play.
