How far can P20 go? Joshua Garcia gives saving tips amid inflation
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia said that not only other ordinary Filipinos suffer from inflation or the rising prices of commodities. He attested that he is also affected by it.
In an interview with Philstar.com and other media at the sidelines of his Cornetto ad campaign shoot, Joshua said even celebrities are affected because they also buy products.
So apektadong apektado tayo nun. Pare-pareho lang tayo,” the “Ngayon at Kailanman” star said.
The young actor also shared tips on holiday spending, based on his experience as someone who wishes to spend his hard-earned money wisely.
Kasi ako ganon ako ‘pag bumibili,” he enthused.
He added that it is okay to spend money on things that one really needs and not only want.
Reports say inflation in the country has hit 6.7 percent in September, the fastest since February 2009.
