BritishIndia says it’s time for more colors, richer textures

MANILA, Philippines – While minimalist and normcore looks have been the trend for quite some time, it didn’t take long for fashion’s mood to change. The once black and white, austere world of fashion has turned towards vivid palettes, striking prints, rich textures, contemporary designs to create exciting new looks. Following the movement is BritishIndia with its eclectic holiday 2015 collection.

The women’s collection stays true to the brand’s style philosophy, offering classic pieces with wearable prints, fresh color combinations and relaxed silhouettes. This time however, the pieces feature various prints in contrasting and complementing hues, like the multi-colored printed blouse with embroidered and beaded lining paired with red pleated palazzo pants. The brand encourages mixing prints, like an off-white jacket with multi-colored embroidery and two-toned printed skirt. Balance the look with solid colored innerwear as well as solid colored accessories in similar shades. For dressy occasions, BritishIndia offers a festive piece like a multi-colored printed dress. The palette features deep browns, purples and a wash of blue, while the differing prints are quite eye-catching.

The men’s collection is equally exciting, with prints in fun but manly colors. Men with a cool eclectic taste will love the deep violet woven short-sleeved button-down with embroidery in a contrasting shade of blue, which can be paired with solid colored trousers, like brown or even white.

BritishIndia is at Alabang Town Center, Cinderella Glorietta 3, Shangri-La Plaza – East Wing, and Vmall Greenhills.
