MANILA, Philippines — Seiko officially relaunched the Seiko 5 Sports collection in the Philippines last October 16. Held at the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City, the grand celebration also welcomed five brand ambassadors, namely Rodjun Cruz, Diane Medina, Khalil Ramos, Chu Calleja and Ben&Ben.

Each represents a Seiko persona for the five new lines—Street, Sense, Suits, Sports, and Specialist—in the company's aim to cater to the modern Millennial market.

Young professionals in various expertise and fields will surely love Seiko 5’s key attributes: an automatic movement, a day-date display at the three o’clock position, water resistance, a recessed crown at the four o’clock position, and a case and bracelet built for durability.

“Seiko 5 Sports found great international favor as a 'go-anywhere’' watch that offers a unique look and extraordinary value,” said Yasuki Fujita, senior manager for Management Planning Department (Asia II) of Seiko Watch Corporation.

As highlight of the event, the Ben&Ben delivered a soulful performance of their popular hits "Kathang Isip," "Maybe the Night," and their latest single, “Pagtingin.”

Aside from unveiling the latest timepieces and brand ambassadors, the event also offered exclusive 20% discount for all Seiko 5 Sports watches and 15% off on other Seiko watches through the Seiko ambassadors promo codes.

Guests also engaged in five different booth activities giving a unique Seiko 5 Sports experience. Finally, DJ Crwn brought the party in the house as everyone danced to the vivifying beat.
