Will your love life also have a "revolution" this year like JaDine? Pilipino Star Ngayon/File

MANILA, Philippines — Since Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day this year are only two days apart, does it mean it is a good time to fall in love this year?

The good news is “if there is the emotional star, there is also the romance star” this Year of the Earth Dog, said feng shui expert Princess Lim Fernandez.

The signs with a good romance luck this year are those born in the years of the Snake, Pig, Rabbit, and Ox. People born under these animal signs need not wear lucky charms.

“They just have to be open, because they already have the energy on their sign,” said Fernandez.

The romance energy this year, she noted, comes from the Northwest, which can be identified by using a compass app in one’s smartphone.

“Identify where the northwest is and make sure that area is always clean. Otherwise, if that area is messy, then they can also expect a messy romance,” Fernandez cajoled.

To invite good romance, she suggested putting fresh flowers, a picture of one’s crush, or a list of the qualities you are looking for in the northwest of one’s bedroom.

One can also improve one’s romance luck by putting nice flowers or plants at home or office desk. “But they (people) themselves also have to accept invitations,” Fernandez enthused.
