DMCI Homes marks milestone at Taft Avenue university hub

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - DMCI Homes marks another milestone with the latest completion of La Verti Residences, the Triple-A property builder’s maiden venture in condo-development within the famous university hub along Taft Avenue in Manila.

This newest addition to the developer’s growing portfolio is an indication of its expanding market, which will now also cater to college students who wish to venture out on their own and try to live away from the family home for the first time.

La Verti’s South Tower, the second building to rise out of this high-rise project, has already been completed recently and is now being turned over to homebuyers who have aptly expressed their satisfaction over the property’s timely delivery.

One such group of homebuyers are Rubin and Nisa Cura, who have bought a two-bedroom unit for their 18-year-old son Justin. Justin, a first-year industrial engineering student at De La Salle University-Manila, is now looking forward to moving in to his unit, which is bound to make his college life more convenient and easier.

“I really like the condo living experience here because it saves me from what used to be hours-long commute from our residence in Parañaque going to Vito Cruz in Manila,” shared Justin. “Now, school is just one LRT or jeepney ride away. I can use the extra time to rest or do school work.”

His handpicked La Verti Residences from several other condominium units they inspected in the area. “One of the main considerations is our experience at Raya Garden Condominiums, which was also developed by DMCI Homes,” said Nisa Cura, as she expresses the family’s satisfaction over their current three-bedroom property at the aforementioned development in Parañaque. “The resort lifestyle it offers suits us real well. We decided to buy one more of DMCI Homes’ residential properties for our son because we’re confident that it will be good for him.”

The Curas bought the two-bedroom unit at La Verti Residences for their son as early as 2011 during its pre-selling. Like their permanent residence, they saw that the new condo can offer an uncluttered, peaceful environment conducive for their son’s college life amid the bustle of his day-to-day activities.

Justin’s idea of leisure after a long day is playing basketball at the development’s play court or hitting its fully-equipped gym. A former high school varsity, he inherited his love for the sport from his father, who is himself active in basketball leagues organized by DMCI Homes across its residential communities. “I plan to play basketball or work out in the evenings. Otherwise, I’ll just rest at our unit,” he revealed.

DMCI Home’s resort-style condominiums all bank on D.M. Consunji’s 61-year progressive track record in the construction of residential developments.
