Sharon Cuneta grateful for husband Kiko Pangilinan's Senate win

MANILA, Philippines — "Megastar" Sharon Cuneta believes that miracles still exist after her husband, Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, entered the Senate's Magic 12 in the 2025 midterm elections.
In her Instagram account, Sharon posted the quote "Faith is standing at the edge of uncertainty, hands open, heart steady saying, 'Lord, I trust You anyway.' Because sometimes the miracle happens not in the answers... but in the soul that learns to trust."
“I believe that miracles still happen. All we did before and apart from our hard work in the campaign was Pray, Trust, Pray, Praise and Glorify God no matter what!" Sharon captioned the post.
“And last night over dinner with our son, we prayed with our angel girls at home and said that no matter the outcome, we would praise Him! And we thanked Him with all our hearts for just the opportunity for Kiko to ‘apply’ to be a servant of the people,” she added.
Sharon thanked the people who voted for Kiko.
“Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong mga nag-tiwala, naniniwala, sumusuporta, nangampanya, nag-tyaga sa hirap, init at pagod, nag-dasal, at bumoto kay Kiko kahapon,” she said.
Sharon also said that with Kiko's win, trolls are no longer effective.
“Walang epek ang sobrang paninira ng trolls at mga nagpapa-bagsak sa kanya! Wala naman silang sinabi sa inyong mga nag-isip na botante at lalong lalo na sa Panginoon!" she said.
“Mabuhay ang ating mahal na Pilipinas! May God bless us all!! God bless and guide my Kiko to be his best senator-self yet!!! Mahal na mahal po namin kayo,” she added.
Kiko served as the Senate majority leader from 2004 to 2008.
