Iya Villania shares quirks of her second pregnancy
She said her pregnancy now is more sensitive than when she had her firstborn, Primo.
“It was easier with Primo. During my pregnancy with Primo kasi as in walang wala. I had no complications; I didn’t feel any morning sickness. It was so easy. This time around, it is relatively easy pero nagkaroon ako ng food aversions, naging mas mapili ako sa pagkain,” the actress told Philstar.com in an interview on Wednesday.
The hands-on mom shared she also now experiences nausea because she cannot figure out what she likes to eat.
“I’m craving for instant noodles. Pero hindi ko hinahayaan ‘yung sarili ko to always give in to that cravings, pero minsan hinahanap ko siya.”
This summer, Iya, Drew and Primo will go to New Zealand for a much needed rest. But Iya said her family chooses to stay at home during regular days.
“Because he (Drew) is always out of town, we enjoy being together at home. Also, we love it kasi it’s also where Primo is comfortable and dun lumalabas ‘yung personality ni Primo. He does all these silly things tapos nakaabang nalang kami ni Drew kung anong kalokohan ang gagawin ng batang ito.”
Iya said they do not want Primo to go into showbiz until he finishes his studies. She will let her child to do whatever he wants to be in the future.
“I just want him to have a good heart and I just want him to be a happy boy. Bahala na siya on what he wants to become.”
Primo already goes to school once a week, but only for play time “to nurture skills and more than anything, I just want him to get comfortable being with other kids,” said Iya.
The celebrity mom recommends Yoyo as the stroller can be carried like a bag and can fit in anywhere, whether in the closet or in airplane storage bins. Apart from having an international warranty, the stroller can be modified into three versions: 0+ version suitable for infants; as a car seat, and a 6+ version for babies older than six months.
