Lunch box meals at Chateau 1771
MANILA, Philippines - Chateau 1771 in Greenbelt 5 offers gourmet lunch box meals, a complete five-course meal served in one tray. The meal consists of Amuse-bouche of the day (tiny, savory palate-teasers), soup of the day; mixed green salad; dessert of the day, and your choice from among 10 entrees such as osso bucco, Chilean sea bass, roast Angus rib-eye and slow-cooked lamb shank.
The Amuse-bouche is a changing set of salmon croquettes, prosciutto croquettes, salmon quiche and gambas.
The soups include minestrone and shrimp consommé. For dessert, choose from coffee pie, creme brulee and panna cotta, among others.
The lunch box meals were developed by Chateau 1771 executive chef Vicky Pacheco.
The full-course lunch box choice of duck breast with sun-dried tomato-cranberry sauce is priced at P550, the osso bucco at P650, and the grilled salmon with balsamic glaze at P460.
Other selections include the blissful belly (P460), salmon Rockefeller (P460), Chilean seabass with chorizo sauté (P750), pan-fried chicken with three cheeses (P420), hunter’s chicken with linguine or vegetables (P450), roast Angus rib-eye with baked potato (P600) and slow-cooked lamb shank.

Cantina, the smaller version of Mexican restaurant Tia Maria’s, recently opened at Dela Rosa St., Makati City.
