Sarah Lahbati declares stretch marks her 'best tattoos'
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Sarah Lahbati was all about sending a message of self-love in her recent Instagram post, as she declared her stretch marks as her "best tattoos."
In her January 26 post, Sarah shared photos of herself in a black two-piece bikini taken by her husband Richard Gutierrez, as she's seen basking in the serene waters of Palawan. She wrote a lengthy yet inspirational caption with it:
"I’m tired of hiding my stretch marks. I’m not perfect. No one is. What’s funny is it took me awhile to accept that. My biggest insecurity," she wrote. "I’ve always been ready to give all of me for my loved ones but never poured that same cup to myself."
"Took me some time to realize that my stretch marks are my best tattoos. A reminder that I am a strong and resilient woman whose been through a lot but most importantly, I’ve given birth to my two dearest sons, Zion and Kai. I am loved, understood & cherished by my husband. I couldn’t ask for anything more," she added.
The star also gave her followers a message of encouragement. "This may sound dumb to you, but I just wanna let you know that you are enough and beautiful," she said.
"I’m grateful to be alive, to be loved, messy, and to be fully myself. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Took awhile for me to get here. But here I am. Proud."
