“With my 32 years of experience in the fashion industry, I have been — for the last 10 years — supporting and advocating the utilization of Filipino skills, artisanship and available indigenous materials,” he enthuses.
Randy’s vision is to create Modern Filipino Fashion, a ready-to-wear line and couture pieces that will showcase locally made and engineered textiles and Filipino ingenuity.
“Hopefully by making good use of whatever traditional and modern technology are available, we will be able to produce distinctly Filipino pieces for men and women that will be worn and appreciated here and all over the world,” Randy told me during our brief and exciting meeting.
