Heart Evangelista's election #OoTD sparks interest among voters
MANILA, Philippines — When actress Heart Evangelista turned up in an election precinct together with Chiz Escudero in Sorsogon, she caused quite a stir not only for voting in her husband’s hometown, but also for wearing an eye-catching election #OoTD (outfit of the day).
While Heart was not donning a gown or a couture outfit, as she did for buying corned beef in a grocery that went viral, people still talk about the printed summer floral dress she wore when she cast her vote in Buhatan Elementary School in Sorsogon City.
"OOTD Ayoooos!!! Nice ka Heart!" an Internet user commented on The STAR’s Facebook album showing Heart and Chiz voting.
"#OOTD nanaman si heart eh nu haha,” commented another.
Since Chiz’s term as senator will be ending next month, he is running for governor of Sorsogon.
In her Intagram stories, Heart posted a video of her and Chiz voting, as well as their matching indelible ink on fingers.
Apart from voting, Heart shared that she is in Sorsogon to collaborate for a new accessories collection with local artist Peewee Benitez.
“Sorsogon is home to the most brilliant talents, so I'm glad to finally be collaborating with one! ? This is @peeweebenitez, a Sorsoganon artist who makes the most beautiful gold-casted pieces. We'll be collaborating on a collection soon, which will have clutches and other pretty things,” Heart wrote in an Instagram post.
