Maine Mendoza unveils her ‘universal nude lipstick’
MANILA, Philippines — International makeup brand MAC Cosmetics finally revealed its new lipstick shade in collaboration with Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza, the brand’s first partnership with a Filipina.
On its Instagram account, MAC shared the new Maine lipstick shade with the caption: “#MaineforMAC IS HERE! Say hello to @mainedcm's lipstick shade!”
“Maine drew from retro fantasies to create her limited-edition lipstick: a muted peachy beige shade with a Matte finish. It also features an exclusive kiss-print packaging, creatively designed and signed by the #MACMaker herself,” the company wrote.
The product will be first available on Lazada on September 21, on SM Megamall on September 22, and in the beauty brand’s stores nationwide on September 23.
The “Eat Bulaga” host also posted her new lipstick on her Instagram account, saying she wanted it to become the universal nude lipstick.
“Opted for a nude shade with matte finish that would work well on a variety of skin tones. I want this to be the universal nude lipstick since you can wear it with anything— from casual to formal— at any time of the day regardless of the occasion! (You can also adjust the tone by wearing a lipliner underneath, if ever you find it too light or if you just want an extra pop!)” Maine wrote.
